Please, please, please, let me get what I want

Totally down the past few days so I went to the nearest mall to walk around. I passed by this photo shop in front of a grocery and saw that the disposable camera was on sale for only 149Php which was pretty cheap. It's usually 400 bucks or more for this kind of disposables but this one's a good find!
Too bad they only had one available but they are stocking next week! Also bought these buy one take one films for only 69php!
I think they are disposing all kodak products that's why they're cheaper now. Also went to BookSale and only got Nylon Guys. But at least didnt leave empty handed.

Looking thru the eyes of Sir David Brewster...

I woke up the other day practically blind and could not open my eyes in harsh lighting. I thought I'd die that day. My eyes were so sensitive that I couldnt even stand my phone's light. I spent the whole day in darkness with my shades on even during at night.
This was me the night before. My eyes didnt feel scratchy or anything. Even when I went home and took off my contacts, my eyes felt normal until I woke up that morning.
So I went to the doctor the following day and have my eyes checked. There are scratches on my left eye's cornea and I have to stop wearing contacts for three weeks or until it heals. The doctor put some drops on my eye and this bandage and thought it was cool! haha I felt like a real life pirate. But after a few hours of wearing it, it didnt feel cool na. Cant wait to take this off my eye and see what's inside. I hope it's still alive :p

Manila Popfest!!!

/ 24.5.12 /
Let's end the last days of summer with some awsomeness! Dr Martens and DOPE MNL will stage POPFEST! - this year's best indie music event! Happening on June 2 at the Fort Plaza.

POPFEST! features some of the best indie bands in Manila. Cant wait to watch Sell Our Door! I've been loving this band since I discovered them few months back and it was a love at first hear (?). Anyway, This track is part of their album which you can download for free here
Im also excited to see The Discoball...
Twin Lobster...
and Wilderness!!!

Totally excited about DOPE MNL collaborating with global brand Dr. Martens in staging this music festival and promoting local independent music to a wider audience. Well, Dr Martens has been part of the music pop culture since they came out with their iconic 8-hole boots and punk kids started wearing them so it's not a surprise they're part of this event.
Their Spring/Summer 2012 collection is already out and available at the Dr. Martens concept store, Fort Strip.
So there!! see you guys at the Manila POPFEST!!

MUST LISTEN: Hear the Days Go by Outerhope

/ 21.5.12 /

Outerhope is releasing a new EP this week called No End in Sight and I have here a track off of that. Hear the Days Go sounds like the early Everything But The Girl songs and it's just soooo goood. Love it so much. And I like it when Outerhope uses beats and synths.

Went to Heima's Design Discussions 3 at the open space in LRI Design Plaza..
Got inspired with photographer Charles Buenconsejo's humble beginnings. I liked the way he presented his talk.
There were six speakers without any breaks. Good thing they had free lafangs at the end of the event.
Melvin getting his Soleil Ignacio postcard signed by...Soleil Ignacio )
Saw Thysz, Shin Lopez and Charles Buenconsejo. Kidding! :p
I checked the Heima store and saw these cute rabbit figurines...
They also had an impressive selection of records. I wanted to purchase this Belle & Sebastian vinyl but I have to buy a record player first :p
Then Melvin, Thysz and I went to this resto called The Frazzled Cook in Mandaluyong for dinner and some Pinoy pop culture discussions with Melvin's friends.
The Frazzled Cook's interior was quirky and full of interesting stuff. Just like these...
and heaps of theses cats...
The night was still young so we decided to go to Today x Future. Luckily, Judd and Earl were spinning that night...
Good night, Thysz
