4AD Sessions: St Vincent

St. Vincent's Strange Mercy is one of my favorite albums this year and this 4AD session made me love even her more! Annie Clark is such a genius she can be the Marie Curie of music world. I dunno what's the relevance of that but you know what I mean...I guess ;) Anyway, just watch her video below

MUST WATCH/LISTEN: Virgins by The Morning Benders

I have been obsessing myself with the new album of The Morning Benders lately and I wished they included this song in Big Echo. They performed this exclusive track called Virgins for La Blogotheque which will be part of a movie that will be streamed online on the said blog.

Watching Chris Chu perform this the first time made me teary-eyed. Sounds cheezy but it's the way he sings it. I dunno, The Morning Benders always make me cry with their songs. You can stream some of their song in their official website. Watch the video below...

LIVE: Tadhana by Up dharma Down

Watch this live version of Up dharma Down's new hit Tadhana from their Route 196 performance. I haven't seen them sing this live so i got excited when I saw this on YouTube. There's a little change in lyrics on the latter part of the song and i like it when Armi does that. I just wish that Up dharma Down would make an exclusive live performance of this song on my blog and everyone would be happy!

Kings of Convenience Live in Manila

Ito nanaman! Another indie act is set to perform in Manila hoping that this rare event wont be canceled just like The Killers. I've been hearing a lot of rumors about Kings of Convenience performing in the Philippines and now it's confirmed! They will be playing at White Space in Makati on March 31 and as was told that the tickets are already sold out. But you can email joff@kindassault.com for more info and wait-listings.

Kings of Convenience is know for their indie folk-pop brand of music that will give you chills during hot summer and make you feel colder during rainy days. They sound like Belle & Sebastian but more melodic. The Aluminum Group but less gay and Simon and Garfunkel but lighter. The best thing about Kings of Convenience is Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe's super soothing voices. They sound like angels lulling you to sleep. Not that I know how angles sound like but if I do, they'd pretty sound like them. If youdig acoustic songs then you might appreciate Kings of Convenience

New MGMT Song: Congratulations!
