The usual overcast sound of A Sunny Day in Glasgow has finally saw some light with their new single, "So Bloody, So Tight" from their forthcoming LP Nitetime Rainbows. Surely, this is brighter than the usual gloomy sound of the band.
The video is their take on LL Cool J's character in Toys and the explanation on how they come up with the video is kind of confusing:
Philadelphia outlaws A Sunny Day in Glasgow star in this short film about the unrelenting existential riptide that is Modernity, attempting to recapitulate the fundamental transcendental litmus tests that make up potentially multifaceted psycho-sensual behavior. Based heavily on LL Cool J's character in Toys. (from youtube.com)
