Last April, I went on a trip to Mt. Pinatubo with some friends. It was my first time to, i dunno, "climb" a volcano. Let's just say trek. If you didn't know, Mt. Pinatubo is one of the active volcanoes found here in the Philippines and is notorious for its devastating past. Words aren't enough to describe the beauty this nature's wonder has, so here are the photos.
we rode this kind of 4x4 truck for more than an hour going to the main foot of the volcano.
It felt like we were in Kenya...
...but with cows instead of lions. haha
Our driver and guide
mga bruha ng disyerto! :p
more cows
saw these two AFAMS...
...who walked and braved the heat. Well, they need some tan!
desert
and more desert.
we went down to take more photos and saw these Aetas selling their produce. They were the local natives of this area.
Kelly, can you handle this? Michelle, can you handle this? Beyoncé, can you handle this? I dont think you can handle these! hahaha so cute!
we're getting closer to the crater
and surprise, surprise! US soldiers are still camping out in this area for some Balikatan drill or something. Our guide told us that they test their guns or missiles or bombs here.
TORA! TORA! BANG! BANG!
will post our crater experience tomorrow! hahaha pa-suspense!
