MUST LISTEN: Too Dramatic (The Morning Benders Remix) by Ra Ra Riot

The Morning Benders did a fantastic remix of Ra Ra Riot's Too Dramatic, one of the stand out tracks from The Orchard album. Though I love the original version better, this remix is not bad at all. I like the echoing hooos as TMB removed the string parts. You can download the single here

MUST LISTEN: Mine is Yours (Passion Pit Remix) by Cold War Kids

Thank goodness Passion Pit remix this song. Mine is Yours is one of the songs from Cold War Kids' new album with same title that never really caught my attention until now. The album version could pass as Kings of Leon song and that is not a compliment. The end result is a synthesized jam with an instant electro pop charm.

MUST LISTEN: Siberian Breaks (Ed Banger All Stars Remix) by MGMT

I'm not really sure if Siberian Breaks is MGMT's newest single from their sophomore album Congratulations but one thing's certain, this SO ME, Breakbot and Busy P remix is way better than the original version.I also posted the album version below so you can compare both tracks.

MUST LISTEN: Elizabeth Fraser [Cocteau Twins Rework] by Star Slinger

I was reading some emails this morning and discovered this recommendation by someone unnamed. I guess he/she/it knows that I am a big fan of Cocteau Twins that's why he/she/it sent it to me. Thanks! I'm gonna give to Star Slinger for this awesome "remix" of Cocteau Twins' Heaven or Las Vegas. It's a totally different song now with Star Slinger's distinct heavy beats and R&B rythm. I dont know if other Cocteau Twins fans would approve, though. But for me, it's a two-thumbs-up.

Justice + Lenny Kravitz = Let Love Rule

The French dance duo did it again or should I say remixed again. This time, they remixed a Lenny Kravitz song matching it up with a witty music video spoofing a standard end credit of a film. Check it out!

Video: Learn to Lose by Hockey

Hockey is on my list of the best bands of 2009. From Portland, Oregon, Hockey is ready to conquer the world with their infectious melodies that will make you dance from start to finish. Particularly this song, Learn to Lose, that has the vibes of The Strokes and The Virgins. Learn to Lose is their second single from their debut album Mind Chaos.
