Why oh why Broken Social Scene?! Not again! BSS always makes me cry whenever i listen to their songs. They do not write the most depressing music. What makes their music so emotional is how they present it and the way Kevin Drew sings every song with compassion and heart-felt.
World Sick is another epic song from this "super group" with merely 7 minutes of pure raw emotion 'voicing the frustrations of a generation stymied by ineffectual leaders, outmoded systems, the sheer magnitude of the world's ills,' according to Pitchfork. Sounds political I must say.
It's another reason to get excited for BSS' upcoming album Forgiveness Rock Record due on May 5th. You can download this track here for free.
