MUST LISTEN: Crossfire by Brandon Flowers

Here it is!!! Brandon Flowers' first single from his debut solo album Flamingo! I'm sure a lot of The Killers fans were a bit disappointed when the news broke out few months back but this single will leave them happy and satisfied. Crossfire doesnt have that boom boom pow instrumention of The Killers but Flowers' vocals and writing prowess were not as highlighted as it is here. Take a listen.

MUST LISTEN: Bloc Party's Kele "Tenderoni"

Bloc Party's frontman Kele Okereke solo effort is starting to gain raves from blogs and online communities with the release of his debut single Tenderoni off from his album The Boxer.

I was expecting to hear a Bloc Party sounding track but Tenderoni is nothing like it...in a good way. It's more dancey rather than rock-driven. It seems that Kele is doing a better job alone. Well I guess Bloc Party's over.

MUST WATCH: 11th Dimension by Julian Casablancas

Finally, the video is out! Been waiting for this for the longest time now and it's a good way to end 2009. I love the video just as much I love the song. Julian Casablancas has a slight similarity with MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden. Sayawan na!
